Syn-Vios is a series of digital garment and jewelry creations produced in collaboration with Keerthana Karthikeyan.
The term “syn-vios” comes from Ancient Greek; “syn,” meaning “together” or “with” and “vios,” meaning “life.” When put next to each other, they form “living together.” The series focuses on pushing the definition of the human body through digital software and a symbiosis between fashion and the human body. It explores ways of visualizing the impossible and the unwearable aspects of fashion as an art form within the physical space in the digital realm. The series also looks into the ways of incorporating the human body as an extension of the natural landscape.
